Discovery Center

We decided to try out the Discovery Center in Santa Ana, and the kids had a lot of fun, even though they were a little too young to understand most of the exhibits. We spent most of our time in an area for kids 5 and younger which they loved.
Stacking the blocks. They stacked them over and over, and kept knocking them down, which they all thought was hilarious.
In front of the green screen where they could make little movies. It was fun because they could see themselves, and they got a kick out of that.
The kids dressed up in the sea animal costumes. Wyatt was a seal, Avery was an octopus, and Kamryn was a sea monster.
Standing in front of the submarine play area where they played for most of the day.
Wyatt sticking his face out of one of the submarine port holes.
Playing with the blocks again.
Kellie and Wyatt inside the discovery "cube" that is covered in solar panels.
Wyatt running into dinosaur land.
Climbing through the tunnels with Kamryn and looking up at the giant dinosaur.

Urban sat all snuggled up in his carseat sleeping, until the end of the day when he woke up to eat. He is such a good baby, sometimes we forget he's with us!
I love this picture of Wyatt! He was sitting on some rocks in the dinosaur land, and watching some of the older kids who were there on field trips. He even tried making friends with a few of them :)
Wyatt sitting by a replica of a Raptor's head. He was totally freaked out, and as soon as he sat down was like, "No!"
Avery and Wyatt playing on a little triceratops.

The Discovery Center was a little too old for the kids, but it will be fun to go back when they are older!
